In this role, your responsibilities will be:
As a Technical Sales Manager at Reifenhauser, your goal is to present our superior solutions in the field of cast, sheet, and coating flat film lines to our customers in the USA and Canada, meeting their current and future goals. While identifying new sales opportunities and acquiring customers in the plastics industry, you also gain knowledge about future market needs with regard to the transformation of the plastics industry towards a circular economy and develop strategies for new distribution channels.

As our initial customer contact for our cast, sheet, and coating film lines, you acquire new customers and provide account management for assigned existing accounts.

You present our product portfolio of flat film systems, e.g., for the production of sustainable packaging solutions from recycled plastic.

Based on your customers’ requirements, you develop individual offers and accompany the negotiations to a successful closing and beyond.

You unterstand your customers' current and future needs and advise them in technical matters, together with an international team of product management and technical customer support.

With your knowledge of the national plastics industry market as well as technical innovations in the field of circular economy, you suggest new ideas for the development of our product range.
For this role, you will need:

You are enthusiastic for the sales of complex capital goods, and conduct your customer conversations with empathy, intercultural competence, and entrepreneurial sense.

You enjoy being on the road and advise our customers on-site (approx. 3 days / week, focus USA and Canada).

You have a convincing manner and strong communicational skills in all customer-related situations and can negotiate und discuss technical matters in proficient English. A basic knowledge of German would be an advantage.

You meet your diverse tasks with a high level of self-motivation and ‑organization, as well as a structured working method.

Ideally, you have already worked with SalesForce for the preparation and follow-up of your customer appointments.
